Feria Clandestina 2024

Clandestina was founded by Nuria Richards in 2019 as a collateral art initiative and is a channel of participation for artists, galleries, and independent projects. We partner with the local and international community to create ecosystems that promote curatorial opportunities and cultural exchange. Clandestina started as an exhibition space in an apartment in Midtown, Miami. Collectors, artists, curators, and friends were welcome at any time to see the exhibitions and share a cup of coffee. With the many world changes after 2020, Clandestina had to change and face the new needs of challenging standards for an independent exhibition space. In 2020 Clandestina moved her operations to the Knoxxon Hotel in MiMo, with a group project showcasing and the installation Victory Over The Sun 13 by Monika Bravo and a hybrid show with twenty local, national, and international artists.

In 2021 Clandestina started collaborating with the historic 7 Seas Motel, first hosting Collabo Seven along with Philip Lique, Lauren Shapiro, and Javier Hernandez; and inaugurating the first edition of Feria Clandestina in 2022.

Clandestina aims to create a new art market that nurtures curatorial value, engage the curiosity of new and old art members.
